ITINERARY

• DAY 1

  Hometown-Amritsar

  Arriving at Amritsar (in Punjab, India) you will meet our company representative and drive to the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

• DAY 2

  Amritsar

  The 2nd day of your trip will cover the following:

  • Thereafter breakfast, a visit to Golden Temple
  • Shopping Places in Amritsar
  • After lunch, a visit to Wagah Border
  • Dinner at SADDA PIND
  • Attending the closing ritual (Sukhasan) at Golden Temple in the evening
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.

• DAY 3

  Amritsar-Srinagar

  On the 3rd day of our Kashmir Tour, we will:

  • Leave for Airport to catch the flight to Srinagar
  • Later, transfer to the Deluxe Houseboat. 
  • On Dal Lake, take a Shikara ride, in the afternoon.
  • Visit the floating vegetable gardens etc.
  • Witness walnut wood carving and Paper Machine making demonstration. 
  • Stay overnight in Hotel.

• DAY 4

  Srinagar-Gulmarg

  The day will allow you to

  • Drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers), 2730 metres above sea level. 
  • Have the view of Nanga Parbat if weather permits.
  • Have a short trek up to Khilanmarg to be covered in 3 hrs (approx.).
  • Enjoy the horse ride, cable car ride and Sledge Riding (At Your Own Cost). 
  • Overnight stay at Hotel in Gulmarg.

• DAY 5

  Gulmarg-Pahalgam

  • After breakfast, we will drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds). The distance of about 160 km will be covered in about 4-1/2hrs. 
  • Visit Saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (it is a Lord Vishnu’s temple that was built a 1100 years ago by King Avantivarman), 
  • See the beautiful countryside on the way and rice fields.
  • Drive through pine forests. 
  • Arrive at Pahalgam and then transfer to the hotel. 
  • After lunch, we will have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of the magnificent view of mountains. 
  • Visit Chandanwari (snow bridges) or Aru on ponies. (At Your Own Cost). 
  • Overnight stay at Hotel in Pahalgam.

• DAY 6

  Pahalgam - Srinagar + Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast, the team will leave Pahalgam and drive to Srinagar. Until lunchtime, you will reach the Hotel. 

  Later in the afternoon, we will visit the famous 

  • Mughal Gardens
  • Nishat (Garden of Pleasure)
  • Shalimar ( Abode of Love) 

  In the evening, we will return to Deluxe Houseboat and at night, you will stay at the hotel in Srinagar.
